AHPC: A1301554G
Mairéad has been an Occupational Therapist since 2011 and has called Singapore her home for over 10 years. She has specialised as a paediatric OT for the majority of her career. She worked in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) before focusing on supporting children with developmental, academic and physical concerns. Mairéad aims to bring her mental health experience to all of her interactions with children and families. She places connection and emotional regulation at the centre of her work and sees the benefit this has on progress. Mairéad has experience working in both government and private sectors working in school, home and community settings.
Mairéad places great importance on continued education, and has completed an array of courses and qualifications which enables her to work with a broad range of clients. She have completed, with distinction, a postgraduate certification in Sensory Integration from Ulster University. She also became a Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) therapist in 2017 which equips her with skills to support the physical development of children with cerebral palsy and other neurodevelopmental diagnosis. Handwriting, visual perception, feeding, motor skills development, play and school readiness are amongst her other interests and specialties.
Mairéad firmly believe that children are empowered through play. It is through play that we develop the foundation skills that are required to successfully participate in the things children want to do and the things they need to do in everyday life. Mairéad believes play is the portal through which children build the skills required for success in school and later in life. She enjoys working with parents and teachers, and experiences great joy and happiness as parents support their children to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest.
In her personal life Mairéad makes sure to prioritise time for play of her own through football, outdoors, pets, creating and anything food related.

Mairéad conducts therapy sessions from the Australian International School, Brighton College, UWC and the Grow+Glow therapy gym in Holland Village.
