Shini has a natural affinity connecting with children. She guides and supports children and their families to achieve their goals and enhance their independence at home, in school and during play. Her approach strongly emphasizes the need for cultivating a child’s positive sense of self by focusing on their strengths in order to address their challenges. She takes a collaborative approach with children and their families and educators when designing interventions, which have shown to bring about positive results and experiences. Shini believes in the importance of advocacy and education by empowering children and families to develop personalized strategies in addressing daily challenges and working towards achieving meaningful goals. She constantly strives to go the extra mile in providing quality care for every child and family that she encounters.

In her personal life Shini enjoys spending time in nature, expressing herself through art and prioritises mindfulness based practices such as Yoga and meditation. She believes an embodied therapist who values inner alignment and regulation is key in bringing her best self forward to serve the clients she gets to journey with.

Shini conducts therapy sessions from the Australian International School, the Swiss School, the Canadian school and she also provides home-based therapy.
